What is a State Quarter Collection?

Whenever the U.S. Mint releases a State Quarter, MPI Coin takes an uncirculated quarter from each mint, both Denver and Philadelphia, and places the quarters inside a colorful tri-fold card.

The card opens up and inside is a brief history lesson on the state, a list of notable natives and locations, an explanation on why the state chose its quarter design and other notable information.

How popoular are the collections? Estimates are that more than 139 million Americans are actively collecting them. Financial institutions that offer the Coins of America program sell more than 2 million State Quarter Collections every year. Needless to say, the Home State Quarter is always the most popular. Expectation has been building for more than a year, as the same citizens who helped create and select the design wait to see the final result.

MPI Coin has all the previously issued State Quarter Collections and our award-winning Collector Box, which is designed to hold all 50 State Quarter Collections.
